It was left general more because getting specific in that case(Muslim sects involved in terrorism) would have been either too broad for certain people to be happy anyway(and thus pointless), or time consuming to construct a more detailed and accurate list that would likely end up with several groups getting mentioned.,, Which I decided was well beyond the scope needed for that response. In what way? I guess the LDS(Mormon) tendency is to be less concerned with the "who did it" aspect of the crucifixion, and focus more on the importance of everything else during that chronicled week culminating in the resurrection(also why Mormons wearing crosses are rare). Actually, the Mormons you run into since the mid 1990's are orders of magnitude nicer to "outsiders" (and "errant members") than they tended to be prior to then. Gordon B. The BIG thing for a number of the Evangelical sects seems to be that Mormons don't hold to the idea of the Holy Trinity as put forth by the Nicene Creed. They believe the trinity to be one being. Drawbacks: Being good at all races is a good idea, but you really do need to excel at one race if you want to tear apart the upper diamond players. [NT]

iThorkos

Benefits: Less strategy- and balance-related frustration. If someone does something to you that you can't figure out how to beat, you can always just copy it and see how people beat you. Downside is that you have way less time to decide what to do in a given match since you don't know what race you're going to be, and you have to know how to play all nine matchups instead of just three. [NT]

No, I'd say it makes it strictly harder to win. For instance, if you play only Terran then you don't have to know ZvP. You can just completely ignore that matchup and it doesn't take up any space in your brain. [NT]
-
Fron
13:27:16 08/28/10

I almost never build zealots now, except vs zerg in the early game. It's a little depressing. Late game I'll go nuts if I have the minerals to burn, but otherwise stalker/colossus is my bread and butter in the mid-game. [NT]

Honestly, reaper rushes vs. zerg were pretty strong, but you also had to micro them very well and constantly if your opponent had even the slightest indication you were going reaper. And then they weren't worth building at all for the rest of the game. It seems like such a misfit unit.

It's not just a couple reapers. The specific strat is going mass Reaper out of 5 or so Barracks. When the Terran gets 10+ Reapers they can destroy Speedlings, Roaches, and really anything as long as they're careful they outrun everything. Meanwhile the Terran gets to freely expand. [NT]

I am certainly going to enjoy it. I hope one can add people into games from chat channels.

I also commented that a response I got from someone at Blizzard when the infamous "do you really want chat channels?" Frank Pearce interview went public, was that the Battle.net dev had been told earlier that week their top priority after release was going to be implementing chat channels. [NT]

Which would translate into: chat channels in the first major (non-bug fix) patch for SC2.... Which has now been verified through official channels. [NT]

The nerf is a 5-second build time increase, which should give Z a solid opportunity to get zerglings and a queen out if they're scouting and paying attention like they should be. [NT]

Incorrect. TvZ is utterly dominated by early Reaper pushes, that's what this change is for. [NT]

The weird part to me was that they explained the reaper build time change as being a compensation for the zealot change, when zealots are basically useless against an early reaper anyway. [NT]

Well the follow up was in conjunction with bunkers, proxies, marauders so maybe they were finding the Zealot build time gave Terrans a window to walk in and get a free bunker down or something, since you do usually get 1 or 2 zealots out before a cyber core finishes to block the ramp. [NT]

You must have a fundamentally different early-game build than I use if you can get two zealots out before the core finishes. My first zealot, if I build one, usually finishes a couple seconds afterwards. [NT]

My builds are sometimes retarded yes, but I usually only get 1 zealot out myself. Usually my gas is a bit late though and I only have enough to start Warp Gate vs getting a quick Stalker, so I will often pick the former and make a second Zealot. [NT]

Or sometimes I just like to save gas for a quick robo bay but only if I know nothing remotely dangerous is coming for a while. I like colossi entirely too much as toss. [NT]

Wow, so their consensus is apparently that Protoss are the weakest by far. Zerg players must be apoplectic that their race is actually getting NERFED. [NT]

Not really, early game Toss and Terran are getting time added on most of their

puts Zerg at an advantage. Ultralisks losing 5 damage against armored stuff and gaining cleaves on buildings isn't really that much of a nerf. [NT]

Especially since no one ever builds ultralisks its kind of a win-win for zerg. Nerf the ultralisk for other buffs! Me okay with that! [NT]

Well, the concept of no one dying in a given shift or day is not uncommon (People do die, but certainly not every day), but we have a different concept of having NO patients on your team called "winning the game." I won the game for about two hours my first month. It was nice at the time. I highly doubt I'm going to win the game this month. Its the ICU. People are sick, and stick around. [NT]
